Marsa Egla

Location: 13 km north of Marsa Alam, Egypt Maximum Depth: 35 meters Difficulty Level: 2 (Easy) Marsa Egla is another beautiful bay located in the Marsa Alam region. This site features a mild slope and crystal-clear waters, making it a popular spot for divers. Typically, dives here are conducted along both sides of the bay, providing a diverse and engaging underwater experience. With a bit of luck, divers might encounter a dugong, known locally as a sea cow. However, sightings of other fascinating marine creatures like sea horses, turtles, and octopuses are more common and require less luck to spot. The underwater terrain and the variety of marine life make Marsa Egla an exciting site for both novice and experienced divers.
